Live Update -Market turns negativ
Markets turned to trade in negative territory wherein Nifty 50 index slipped 0.04% and BSE Sensex slipped 0.08%. Contributing majorly to Sensex movement ICICI Bank and State Bank of India slipped in trade by 1% and 0.78% respectively.
At this hour of trade, Nifty Bank also slipped to trade in negative zone by 0.03% at 24,106 level majorly contributed by State Bank of India and ICICI Bank.
Prataap Snacks is topping the charts in most active securities in terms of volume. The stock is trading in negative territory slipping 6.10% at Rs 1192.50 per share after witnessing a rally of 36% in share price.
At 11 AM, the S&P BSE Sensex is trading at 31,663 down 8 points, while Nifty is trading at 9913 down 1 point. A total of 40 stocks registered a fresh 52-week high in trade today, while 31 stocks touched a new 52-week low on the NSE.
The BSE Mid-cap Index is trading up 0.49% at 15,690, and BSE Small-cap Index is trading up 0.52% at 16,405.
Some buying activity is seen in Bankex, Healthcare and Finance sectors while BSE Telecom, BSE Capital Goods and BSE Oil & Gas index are losing on BSE.
Aurobindo Pharma, Mahindra and Mahindra and Yes Bank are among the gainers Bharti Infratel, BPCL and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation are losing on the NSE.
